A plug to followers who I don’t know from the New York comedy scene:
Every month since October of last year, Adam Bozarth, Taylor Moore, Matt Little, Anna Rubanova and I have been producing a sketch comedy podcast called Left Handed Radio. It’s not a show about sketch comedy, but a 30-40 minute scripted show with music, sound effects, and amazing guest writers and voice actors.
Really, Left Handed Radio is one of the favorite things I’ve been a part of in my five years in New York. I love working with these guys, and to effectively produce a comedy album with this crew every month fills me with pride and humility.
If you don’t subscribe via iTunes or have never listened to an episode, the videos for Skeleton Warehouse and Ralph the Annoying Talking Dog are a good toe in the water as to the show’s sensibilities. If you like either of those, I’ve a favor to ask: below is a direct link to each episode produced thus far. Throw an episode or two on your iPod and give a listen. If you don’t care for it, you never have to listen to it again! If you enjoy it, then keep listening! And share!
Episode One: It’s Like a Shit Fit Only Bigger
Episode Two: The Illuminati Will Be Pleased
Episode Three: Now You Got a Wreath and You’re Welcome
Episode Four: Jocaster is Busy
Episode Five: How Did You Know it Was Banksy?
Thus ends this plug. Thank you for your time and iPod real estate.
All the best,
Dan.
