So here’s the deal: Sting has a show in Michigan on Sunday, the 6th. On the 8th and 9th, Sting has shows at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC.

This means that Sting does not have a show on November 7th, and will likely be in New York City. Fambly is presenting an encore performance of “Brand New Day: A sketch comedy show about the Sting song ‘Brand New Day’” on Monday the 7th at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Chelsea, mere blocks from the Roseland Ballroom. Do you see how serendipitous this all is?

Sting, on the off chance this gets through to you or your representatives, twelve dear friends and I mounted a show this month celebrating your 1999 single “Brand New Day,” which months ago became our favorite song.

If you can’t stop by the show, I understand. If you can’t see the show, I understand. But if you are in New York City on Monday the 7th and are inclined to support some true fans who love you and what you do, it would mean the world to us, and would be an amazing cherry on top of an already supremely positive show and experience. If you could Skype in. Call in. Wave at us from a webcam. For 10 seconds. Whatever. An indication of support from you would resonate in our hearts for years.
